Who would have thought I got dirty on my own? I only got one laugh and many sad songs. But who’s to say how this will end? Maybe everyone else was wrong. No? It’s just me? They never could help me. While I’m asleep I feel everyone watching me. The past is the past, but it’s everything I see. I do not find comfort in my skin. I never feel free. I’m not the hero. There’s no knight in shining armor. There’s no encore. Not even a happily ever after. There comes a time when you’ve seen the world. You come to know how to predict all people. I never could fit in. And now I’ll never be one of them.
