Why I Like It:
I cried a lot to this song. It perfectly emulates the feelings I’ve had about taking the steps towards pursuing the stuff I was passionate about. Music was something that everyone had me convinced was my “hobby” not my job. I would be at work and school, but all I would talk about was music. When I finally started gigging and focusing on it like it was my job, I realized how happy it made me. Also, going back to an office job would be impossible for me. Teaching maybe, but not the work I was planning on doing. That’s why this song gets my feelings. I still tear up when I play it. Haley knows how to get me in the heartstrings.
